As Technical Support Manager you will take a major role in the company’s international customer support operations. You will interact on a daily basis with professionals from the most successful worldwide brands who trust on Tuxera file systems. Your mission is to answer customer requests and questions, and to communicate complex technical issues effectively over the email or phone.
Responsibilities:
- Logging of calls and emails from customers onto a support database and following escalation procedures to solve issues.
- Work closely with sales account managers in order to deliver prompt support to customers’ requests. Customers are manufacturers and chipset provider in several locations worldwide.
- Basic troubleshooting file system problems and performance bottlenecks based on customer feedback.
Preferred credentials:
- Be fluent in English.
- Very good communications skills, especially clarity and conciseness.
- A genuine passion for today’s world-transforming technologies, consumer electronics, Internet services, and computers.
- Proven experience with bug tracking systems such as Bugzilla, launchpad.
- Gifted to develop and strengthen relationships, and build trust with partners and customers.
- Awareness to multicultural and multilanguage diversity.
- Experience as a face-to-face consultant or support specialist.
- Degree in Engineering or Science, but what we value the most is actual industry experience and knowledge.
