DOVADO Integrates Tuxera NTFS Into its 3G/4G Routers
Tuxera Helps to Add Fast and Reliable NAS Functionality over USB

HELSINKI, FINLAND–(Marketwire – Jan. 4, 2011) – Tuxera, the leading provider of Windows-compatible file systems for Android, Linux, Mac and other platforms, announced today that DOVADO, an innovative developer of routers for mobile broadband internet access, has licensed Tuxera NTFS to bring fully interoperable NAS functionality to its feature-rich DOVADO 4GR mobile broadband router. With Tuxera NTFS inside, DOVADO customers can plug and play Windows-formatted portable USB hard drivers between the routers and their PCs.

“We chose Tuxera NTFS for its easy-to-deploy, fast and reliable NAS functionality that boosts the value of our products,” stated DOVADO’s Chief Technical Officer, Mathias Johansson. “Being a reputed industry pioneer within the realm of NAS, Tuxera remains the obvious choice. Our full-featured 4GR now adds NAS functionality on top of our unique portfolio of features such as Home Automation, SMS tools, GPS Tracking and remote control via our iPhone and Android apps.”

Tuxera NTFS has in short time become the gold standard file system solution for NAS devices. Tuxera has partnered with the leading chipset companies to make sure its customers can deploy NTFS with the best-in-class read & write performances without compromising reliability.

“We are pleased to help DOVADO take their cutting-edge technology to the next phase of maximum interoperability involved in today’s connected homes,” stated Tuxera CEO Mikko Välimäki. “Tuxera and DOVADO’s partnership is a win-win for not only both our companies, but for every DOVADO 4GR owner.”

DOVADO will soon offer an update of its firmware to existing DOVADO 4GR customers that will include the Tuxera NTFS implementation.
