Post Re: Cant mount NTFS after Migrating
i am having the same problem:

there is another freeware driver on: http://macntfs-3g.blogspot.com/

when installing the tuxera driver i had much troubles with recognition of mac specific file attributes and some directories. that have been written by other macs on my portable drive tith the freeware version.

so i tried to downgrade to the freeware version and got the same prompt: "Libary/Filesystem/fuse.fs/Support/fuse.kext failed to load - (libkern kext) link error; check the system/kernel logs for errors or try kextutil(8)" the macfuse system is not available (71)

as soon i plug in any NTFS usb drive.

unfortunately i am not so much in system coding of mac os that i am so familiar with this kernel logging and debuging stuff.

didn't yet found the solution to workaround.

would be interesting how to get rid of the tuxera driver entirely to let the freeware version harmonize properly with mac fuse...

also it would be interesting who to blame: MacFUSE or TuxeraNTFS.
