Post FreeBSD6.2/NTFS3G/Windows XP problem
Hello,
Files created with NTFS-3G under FreeBSD6.2 on a NTFS partition are not visible under Windows XP.
For windows xp, they don't exist, while file is OK on freebsd.

Any suggestions on how to produce a valuable debug?

Thanks,

Daniel

This FreeBSD port sounds to have a quite big problem. Run chkdsk /f DRIVER:
on Windows then check if the files are there and send the chkdsk output:

Hi Szaka,
i just found out that it was a problem with that specific external usb drive. Internal drives works correctly ;)

Thanks,

Daniel

There isn't any diference between external, internal drives, file images, etc from ntfs-3g point of view. It absolutely most defintely doesn't matter.

In case of an external drive, if data weren't synched to disk and unmounted properly before detachment from the computer or during shutdown then data loss could happen of course.
