 Filenames like 'Ca Dé Sin Do'n T.mp3'
It a song from Clannad.
The file displays ?? in linux in stead of the accented chars (ubuntu 7.10).
I am rather a newbe but I have been told this could be because of the filesystem encoding.
This is on a networkdrive mounted in fstab with
//192.168.1.10/D /home/jean/serverd ntfs-3g,locale=en_US.UTF-8 0 0
Please please pretty please how can I read the correct chars? :)
Btw, ntfs-3g is working fine here since 4 months without any troubles, thanks. One thing, once I had a menu option for it, but that has gone to nowhere land, but it's not an issue.

You need to use CIFS to mount remote volumes, not NTFS-3G.
