“In the standard version of the Android file system the performance can be drastically lessened in case of unexpected power outages, the accidental loss of data in the the user USB storage media or in case of other unforeseen situations. More often than not, the user could lose the data forever. Tuxera [file system suite] write fail-safe data protection features, as well as support for on-the-fly repair function, prevents the loss of data due to unexpected power failure or improper operation.”
In face of constant increase in the amount of stored data, data security gains a new meaning. Tuxera file system solutions, fail-safe by design, ensure that no file gets lost in case of unexpected plug-off or a power outage. On-the-fly volume check and repair tools make sure that the system heals transparently while it is running. To guarantee full volume consistency in every possible scenario, as a part of our rigorous quality assurance, we have developed an intensive testing methodology that includes test specifications for interoperability, performance and functionality testing.
To illustrate it, we are conducting a fail-safe demo showcasing Tuxera fail-safe testing and performance measurements, part of mentioned above extensive test suites developed to ensure highest reliability and performance while maintaining low CPU usage
This January we are bringing fail-safe demo to CES 2014, a global consumer electronics and technology trade-show hosted every year in Las Vegas. We will be presenting it in the evenings on January 6th, 7th and 8th, during the GENIVI Member Showcase. It’s by invitation only, so if you are interested in participating, please contact our demo team.
