Data In Science Technologies (DST)

DST was founded in 2005 and is based in Marietta, Georgia. It helps government, healthcare and research organizations turn their data into analytics and models. Its offerings include managed HPC and HPC assessment services, a rapid big-data analytics platform, and DataLogger for cataloging. It tackles HPC data management problems through chain-of-custody and search across multiple data sources.

DST’s HPC managed services and assessment work put it inside research and government clusters where protocol performance limits throughput. Fusion NFS and Fusion SMB give DST a supported, high-performance alternative to open-source NFS and Samba gateways. DST can recommend Fusion during assessments and deliver it as part of managed services, helping customers extract more from existing HPC storage investments.
