Tuxera Opens Office in China

Tuxera answers to growing demand with rapid expansion across Asia.

Helsinki, Finland and Beijing, China – January 29, 2013 – Tuxera Inc., market leader in interoperable file systems for Android, Linux, Mac and other platforms today announced it has opened an office in Beijing, China, joining Seoul and Taipei as the company’s third office in Asia and the fifth globally. With headquarters located in Helsinki, Finland Tuxera has already offices in the world’s leading technology hubs on three continents. The China office supports the rapidly growing demand for Tuxera’s file system products and support services in Greater China. Michael Chen has been named as the Director of Business Development for the new office bringing over 15 years of embedded software and semiconductors expertise to Tuxera customers.

Analysts estimate the Chinese consumer electronics industry will continue to grow steadily at a rate of 9% throughout this year. In addition, the demand for comprehensive cross-platform interoperability and high performance in consumer electronics is surging.
