FOUR STEPS TO BECOME A TUXERIAN

1. Apply

We want to know what motivates you – so don’t skip the cover letter! Also, make sure your CV and cover letter are relevant to the position you’re applying to.

2. Evaluate

After we evaluate your CV and cover letter, we’ll send you an email about what happens next.

3. Meet

Our People Operations team meets with you either face-to-face, through Skype, or over the phone. Here we find out if you’ve got the right skill set and determine if you’d be a good match for our community.

4. Technical interview

We may have some tasks before the technical interview or during it – either way, we’ll let you know ahead of time how to prepare. The session is workshop-style. We want to know how you approached our challenge and the rationale behind your methods.

WORKING IN FINLAND

  • LANGUAGE

    In Finland you don’t need to worry too much about not speaking the local languages, Finnish or Swedish. Most people know English and it’s widely used, especially in the capital region. In many high-tech companies, such as Tuxera, English is used as the main working language.

This also goes for higher education, and there are a lot of foreign students studying in Finnish universities. Plus, you can find many schools with curricula in English.
