ASUS Selects Tuxera File System Software for Eee Pad™ Tablets
Provides Seamless Interoperability and Extended Battery Use Time

HELSINKI, FINLAND and TAIPEI, TAIWAN — May 12, 2011 — Tuxera Inc., the leading provider of Windows and Mac compatible file systems for Android, Linux and other platforms, today announced it has signed a license agreement with ASUS to include Tuxera’s file system software into ASUS complete line of tablets.

“During our evaluation, we found that Tuxera file system software had the best performance and compatibility. However, the main reason we decided to include Tuxera software in all of our Google Android® based Eee Pad™ tablets is that Tuxera software supports the ASUS Green Design initiative by using less CPU power and adding nearly 20% more battery time,” said ASUS Corporate Vice President, Alan Hsieh.

“Tuxera takes great pride in optimizing our products to run efficiently on every platform and we are especially excited to be part of the innovative ASUS Eee Pad™ product line,” said Mikko Välimäki, Tuxera CEO.

Tuxera file system products such as Tuxera NTFS and Tuxera exFAT enable tablets, smartphones, TVs and many other consumer electronics devices to transfer data to and from all types of portable storages using USB, SDHC, SDXC, and network interfaces. Tuxera’s software is optimized for all major chipset hardware and operating system platforms and delivers industry-leading read and write speeds, while using less power to extend battery usage time.
