Tuxera Kick Off 2027: Together, We Aim Higher

Over 120 colleagues. Multiple countries and cultures. One Tuxera. One shared ambition.

This October, we brought together over 120 Tuxera colleagues from across Europe, the USA and Asia for our annual company Kick Off in Helsinki, Finland.

Under the theme “Together, We Aim Higher,” we gathered to celebrate what we have achieved, set our sights on the exciting year ahead and, most importantly, connect with each other.

And what a week it was!

Setting our ambitions high and believing in our people

We started the week by bringing our leaders together to reflect on what it takes to achieve ambitious growth. A central theme was the power of expectations: believing in what our people can achieve, setting the bar high and creating the support and environment that enables everyone to succeed.

As we moved into the company-wide sessions, we looked back at FY2026 and turned our attention to the opportunities ahead.

And there is plenty to be excited about! Expanding in our global markets, strengthening partnerships with existing customers and building new ones, bringing new product launches and innovations to market, and finding new ways to work together across regions and functions.

AI and physical AI are also opening up significant opportunities for Tuxera. AI is already becoming an integral part of how we work across functions, from engineering and product development to our everyday processes. At the same time, the emergence of physical AI is creating new opportunities for the technology we build and the value we deliver to our customers.

With ambitious plans ahead, it was important to remind ourselves that our success is not only about what we do, but also about how we work together to achieve it.

Connecting people: the heart of One Tuxera

While our agenda was packed with discussions about technology, products, innovation, customers, AI and go-to-market activities, perhaps the most important objective of the week was much simpler: bringing people together.

In a global company like ours, where colleagues collaborate across continents, time zones and different areas of expertise, opportunities to meet face-to-face are invaluable.

And with 35 new colleagues having joined Tuxera across our regions during the past year, there were plenty of new faces to get to know, bringing fresh perspectives, expertise and energy to our growing team.

Our culture workshop, Let’s Reach Out!, was designed around exactly this. We encouraged everyone to step outside their usual circles, meet colleagues they do not normally work with, learn about each other’s roles and perspectives, and explore how we can create even greater customer impact together.

The atmosphere throughout the week was something special. What started with a sense of anticipation grew into something quite special. By the end of the week, it felt like one big Tuxera family, a sense of togetherness that several colleagues described as something they had never experienced at another company.

It was wonderful to see colleagues engaging in open dialogue, challenging ideas, sharing experiences and genuinely enjoying the opportunity to learn from each other.

Even the Finnish autumn treated us well – we were lucky to enjoy beautiful fall weather, with Helsinki showing off its autumn colors. And of course, we could not miss a team photo at Töölönlahti, complete with colorful autumn leaves and our brand-new Tuxera beanies!

Great technology needs great people, and both head and heart

One theme stood out across the many different presentations, workshops and conversations during the week: as AI transforms our industry and the way we work, our human capabilities matter more than ever.

At Tuxera, AI is not simply something we talk about as a future trend. It is increasingly embedded in how we develop software, solve problems and improve our productivity. And through our focus on physical AI, we are contributing to the technologies that enable increasingly intelligent systems to operate reliably in the physical world.

This transformation creates exciting opportunities, but it also challenges us to rethink how we create value.

Throughout history, machines have taken over much of the work previously done by our hands. Now AI is increasingly capable of supporting work that has traditionally depended on our knowledge and analytical skills: our heads.

So what becomes our competitive edge?

During our culture workshop, we explored the idea of entering the Era of the Heart. Not because expertise and technical excellence matter any less, but because passion, curiosity, trust and the ability to work together are what turn great ideas and technology into real results.

Curiosity to explore what does not yet exist. Courage to challenge established ways of working. Judgment to make decisions. Passion for what we do. And above all, the trust, support, honest feedback and collaboration needed to turn individual expertise into collective results.

AI can help us work faster and smarter. But it is our people who set the direction, challenge the possibilities, build relationships and take responsibility for delivering results.

This is also why our four Tuxera values are so important:

• Earn Trust: through the quality of our work and how we treat each other.
• Create Customer Impact: by focusing on what truly matters to our customers.
• Grow Together: by sharing, learning and helping each other succeed.
• Aim Higher: by thinking boldly and challenging what we believe is possible.

These values were not just words on presentation slides. Throughout the week, we explored what they mean in our everyday work and how each of us can bring them to life.

In a world where technology is advancing faster than ever, our ability to combine technical excellence with strong human collaboration will be a key driver of our success.

Celebrating our people and values in action

A wonderful way to close our Kick Off was the Tuxera Awards Dinner, held in the historic surroundings of Suomenlinna fortress.

The evening was an opportunity to recognize and celebrate colleagues who have demonstrated our values through their everyday actions, contributions and impact.

What makes these awards particularly meaningful is that they shine a light on the people and behaviors that make Tuxera what it is. Behind every successful product, customer relationship and achievement are individuals and teams who go the extra mile, help others succeed and make a difference.

Together, We Aim Higher

Personally, I left the week feeling incredibly proud and inspired by our people.

I was impressed not only by the quality and passion of our presenters and the dedication of everyone who made the event possible, but especially by the energy and openness of our colleagues throughout the sessions.

Seeing our engineers, sales professionals and colleagues from all functions actively joining discussions, sharing ideas, challenging perspectives and investing not just their time but their full energy into making the most of our days together was truly inspiring.

We have set ambitious goals for ourselves. Achieving them will require hard work, new thinking and a willingness to keep learning and evolving. It will also require us to make the most of the opportunities AI brings, while continuing to strengthen the human connections that make us effective as one team.

But after spending this week together, I feel more confident than ever in what this team can achieve.

We have the expertise. We have the technology. We have the ambition. And most importantly, we have the people and the willingness to achieve great things together.
