Tuxera Announces NTFS Support for Cavium Networks ECONA Family of ARM®-Based Energy Efficient System-on-Chip (SoC) Processors for the Digital Home

Tuxera’s Next Generation NTFS Driver delivers significantly accelerated file system performance on ECONA Family of CNS3XXX Processors

HELSINKI, FINLAND: Tuxera, the leading provider of high-performance NTFS and exFAT file system drivers, today announced support for the ECONA CNS3XXX ARM-based Energy Efficient Processors from Cavium Networks (NASDAQ: CAVM), a leading provider of semiconductor products that enable intelligent processing for networking, communications, storage, wireless, video and security applications. Tuxera’s interoperable file system drivers are a natural fit for hardware manufacturers as well as software and system integrators. Cavium’s ECONA and OCTEON® processors will be presented at Broadband World Forum Europe on September 7-9 2009 in booth # 158.

The recently announced Cavium Networks next generation ECONA CNS3XXX family of ARM-based energy-efficient processors offer single and dual ARM11 MPCore processors, a rich set of integrated hardware accelerators and a range of I/Os for glueless voice, video and data connectivity. The processors are targeted for applications including FTTH broadband gateways, network attached storage appliances, multimedia picture frames, media and print servers, IP cameras and wireless access points.
